Pompano Youth Academy is a residential treatment program located in Pompano Beach, Florida, serving up to 28 female youth ages 13 to 18 who are assessed as moderate risk and are in need of structured programming, mental health services, and substance use intervention. Operated in partnership with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, the program provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
Our trauma-informed, strengths-based approach fosters emotional safety, resilience, and personal growth. Each youth receives an individualized treatment plan tailored to her assessed risks and needs, with a focus on targeted interventions, skill development, and measurable goal attainment. Through our Integrated Care Model framework, we support youth from initial assessment through treatment and transition planning, addressing immediate needs while building the foundation for long-term success.
Educational services are delivered through Florida Scholars Academy, along with career and technical training to build practical skills and enhance employability. Youth also participate in recreation therapy, pro-social activities, family engagement, and transition planning.
Using evidence-based practices and a youth-centered approach, Pompano Youth Academy empowers young women to build accountability, strengthen emotional well-being, and gain the tools needed to thrive beyond the program.
